Liliana Soto
Assistant Professor of Practice, School of Journalism
Liliana Soto joined the University of Arizona School of Journalism faculty after working as an enterprise/investigative journalist at ABC 15 News in Phoenix, where she broadcasted stories in both English and Spanish. Born in Mexico, Soto graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. From there, she moved to Austin, Texas to work at Univision as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor. Soto teaches broadcast classes and will run the new Severson Family Broadcasting/Podcasting Studio and Lab. She also is an assistant director for the school's Bilingual Journalism Program.
