The Center hosted Distinguished Humphrey Fellow, Syrym Itkulov, an investigative journalist from Kazakhstan. Itkulov toured the U.S.-Mexico border, met with local journalists, and visited with students and faculty in journalism classes and at a roundtable discussion that focused on journalism in Kazakhstan.
