University Lecturer Fadwa Kamal Presents for Al Jisr Connect Students

This training was specially designed for students in the Al Jisr Connect project, who represent the University of Arizona and four universities in Yemen. The presentation provided a brief definition of photojournalism, including its importance in producing powerful stories. Participants saw examples of journalistic photos and discussed their potential emotional impact and messages. The session also covered best practices for taking pictures, how to choose the right image for their story, and a brief look at critical ethics. Students were also invited to ask questions and share their thoughts on photojournalism.
